Marin Turkey Trot

Allow yourself some guilt-free indulgence this Thanksgiving Day by spending the morning burning off the calories you will replace later with pumpkin pie! The Annual Turkey Trot is a great way to spend the day with your family doing something active and helping the community with your non-perishable food donations which will be donated to the San Francisco/Marin Food Bank.

Referral Program

You’re trotting, bring a friend, or two, or ten.  For each person you refer to run the Marin Turkey Trot, we’ll pay you $5.00 of their registration fee(s).  Anyone can make referrals, whether you’re running in the race or not.  Simply share a personalized link through your social channels.  No cold-calling required, thankfully (that only works on grandma anyway)

Make every step count in this year’s Marin Turkey Trot.  It’s simple. After you register, create an everydayhero fundraising page for your favorite cause. Choose your cause and set a goal. Then, share it with friends, track your training, and make a difference.

You can choose to fundraise for SchoolFuel, the Marin Food Bank, San Marin Athletic Boosters, or find a cause that sings to you – because at the end of the day, it’s up to you to make every step count.  Get started at

School Fuel’s mission is to support and enrich the education available to every student in the Novato Unified School District by raising funds, encouraging volunteerism and increasing community awareness of student and district needs.

Marin Food Bank

The mission of Marin Food Bank is to provide quality food, the most basic of all human necessities, to people in Marin County who need nutritional assistance. The 14th Annual Marin Turkey Trot would like to encourage all participants and spectators to bring one canned food item to the event. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

San Marin Athletic Boosters

The San Marin All Sports Boosters Club was created to provide a venue for parents of San Marin High School students and interested community members to support the athletic teams at the high school.
